Today, we’ll tell you about a Bengal cat named Audree and a little hedgehog named Herbee. This tale, no doubt, would brighten your day. We got to know Audree and Herbee, two members of the Mr. Pokee family, through the owner Talitha Girnus’ social media posts of them. These two animals have more than 1.8 million Instagram followers, making them relatively well-known on the platform.
Talitha first started sharing images of animals on social media in 2015. Pokee, an 8-month-old tiny hedgehog, inspired her decision to give it the name of her social media accounts. Pokee, a little hedgehog, sadly passed away in 2019. Until Herbie, the new one entered Talitha’s life; she missed her tiny Pokee. Herbee assumed his responsibilities and restored Talitha’s grin. To remember Pokee, Talitha got a tattoo on her wrist.
Talitha wrote in one of her blogs, “I began adopting Audree a few months after adopting Herbee. I was highly interested in owning a cat with whom I could go on excursions. I learned about Audree once when searching Google for a particular kitty for me. By the way, I was ignorant of the breed. Fortunately, the adoption reservation for Audree has been canceled at the time. I was able to adopt this Bengal kitten as a result. Audree and Herbee have been close friends since then and are now inseparable! Everywhere they go, they go together. Together, they play. To bed together. Shared meals (sometimes in the same bowl too). Each person is tremendously interested in the other. But to our amazement, Herbee once offered Audree a nibble out of the blue. Even then, Audree did nothing but meow and walked away, which is excellent since it didn’t happen again.
