Recently, the winners of the BirdLife Australia Photography Awards were revealed. More than 5,600 photographs were submitted from photographers worldwide, and only the finest were chosen.

The competition was held to generate money for bird conservation projects and to honor the variety of birds that inhabit the world. There were many other categories to choose from this year, including “Bird Portrait,” “Special Theme (Australasian Robins),” “Bird Behaviour,” “Birds in Backyards,” etc. The images below are some of the best we have.
