There is no way to get a decent photo taken for identification purposes. No matter how well you strike a stance, how many times you’ve reviewed the photo, or how much money you spent on your clothes, this is still going to be one of your worst photos. That’s a puzzle for the next generation to figure out. Eventually, they’ll figure out how to get a decent photo for their identification documents. Perhaps they’ll have a philosophical epiphany and decide they’re fine with the way they appear.

Meanwhile, we located a university that developed a novel approach to this issue. It doesn’t cure the problem, but it takes a new tack to contain the fallout. It’s more like a way to limit the damage.

The final year of North Farmington High School is presented here. Since 2014, seniors at that school were permitted to dress up for their yearbook photos. Unfortunately, they were not successful in rectifying the ID photo issue, but at least the process is now more entertaining. Wow, that’s quite neat; when was the last time your photo identification actually made you smile?

Similarly, those upperclassmen have made excellent use of the chance afforded them and have shown a great deal of originality in their work. They have total and complete ownership of the situation. These are pictures of the class of 2022.
