People continue to be brave and do everything they can to secure the safety of their family, friends, and pets while tragic events unfold in Ukraine. Many images have surfaced in the last few days illustrating the tremendous affinity between dogs and humans in Ukraine.

Several Ukrainians have been observed clinging to their dogs during these trying times. Even though the pets are terrified, they provide unconditional love and comfort to their owners during these difficult moments.
